well the major problem I'm having is the two PCMCIA cards are conflicting with eachother. I can use just the wireless pcmcia ehternet card, or I can use just the PCMCIA cardbus 4 port usb 2.0 hub... but if I try to use both at the same time, crash. still haven't figured it out yet.

thought it was an IRQ conflict, but according to the system settings they're all seperate... which is actually surprising considering windows 98 is notorious for IRQ conflicts. Tried downloading all the win98 patches, upgraded to win98se (its a 400mhz comp, otherwise I'd put XP on it..), downloaded new drivers for all, no clue. It's been 2 months that I've been stumped. I posted on like 10 computer help forums but they are NO help at all, and I managed to get myself banned from one of them.

Yeh reading that made me cringe too. Technically I *can* put XP on this slow beast, but the touch screen drivers don't work, and 3M stopped making drivers for it apparently.

Si Si, I had to stop so I could concentrate on getting my rims. All the hardware I need except for the wireless ethernet adapter is there, so most of it now is just software configuring and setting it all up.
