"The 2006 Impala has quick pick up and power that makes it fun to drive. We love to drive it and the kids' friends think it's a cool car." — Dana Phillips, October 9, 2005
"In my opinion, this car is simply awesome. Yes, the exterior can use a little more modification, but it is still a head turner. Everyone that I've spoke with about it loved it. As far as pure HP, I don't think you're gonna beat it with any other sedan on the market. No, I haven't purchased a lot of sedans, but this is an animal on the highway. Going 80 mph seems like 50. The ride is smooth. The interior is nice also. Of course, everyone will have something bad to say about everything in life. Great vehicle." — Giza_wuta, September 11, 2005
"We picked up our Black SS this last week. We're impressed with the car, very quiet, very powerful, and the interior and exterior fit and finish is a huge step up for GM. Love the power and handling. Lots of features for the money such as OnStar, heated seats, Bose sound system, XM radio, leather and power sunroof. Would like rearview mirrors to be larger and Chevrolet to offer a navigation and DVD player as well as auto climate control, but quite nice as is. We like our SS. Compared to Dodge Charger and Ford 500, Ford is underpowered and Dodge, while great Hemi power, lacks fit and finish and refinement of SS. Would like Chevrolet to implement rear-drive for next Impala." — Steve, September 11, 2005
"Love the car! Great look, great ride, great performance. Not owned long enough to comment on fuel economy, but hoping it is good also." — Mark, September 7, 2005
"Picked up my new 2006 Impala SS in August. The new style 2006 Impala SS is the BEST Impala SS ever built so far. Comfort, style, appearance, easy to learn gadgets, fun to drive and outstanding performance. The DoD V8 is fantastic. This 2006 Impala Super Sport is going to be a collectable classic in years to come. It was worth the wait!" — Fred Shine, August 30, 2005

Any GM is full of ignorance,A ford or Chysler guy lets things go because their easy going,I;ve yet to see any GM fanatic let anything go,they always have to stick up for GM in some way or another.
Saying a ford probe makes more torque then a S2000 geez let the torque thing go dude,Is that all you have behind you is torque.
The last 2 weeks i've ran into this blue 97 probe GT everytime i goto tacobell after work,Each time he wants to race me,He tries to go me at a light,He takes off 1st thru 2 second he has me by 4 cars, once i shift into 3rd i'm instantly passing him and i keep going till i reach taco bell at the next 2 lights and away he goes,This has happend twice and i know i'll end up having to own him again.
BTW an S2000 will own my in *** in any gear i wouldn't even apptempt to race one,So what was you're point with that, torque doesn't mean without proper gearing which HONDA yes HONDA focus's on with all their cars.

The fact that its unreliable ,a engineering dead end and gets the gas mileage of a 426 hemi.. Gotta love tose apex seals, on top of which the lousy emissons are enough for me. Why don't you justify to the world why every car manufacturer should mass produce the wankel? Every auto manufacturer has done the reaserch on them but i guess that awnsers it. As for the taxi cab comment that was quite funny. But id prefer the ttc or even a taxi over your sled

Wow
First of the Wenkel is a great motor it has a few flaws. The motor is not the problem in the RX7 it is the complexity of the twin turbo setup. Basically no one knows how to work on them. They have a vacume hose nighmare when a hose gets a leak the car does not run right. Heat is the motors enemy Mazda gave the car a small rad. That caused alot of problems u overheat a rotary and it is done.
Fuel economy is not that bad if you don;t drive it like a hero. The FD is a great car u should do ur reasearch. Engineering dead END It is funny you mention that since Mazda is working on a ZERO emissions Rotary that runs on Hydrogen they have a working prototype it might be the future!
