Civics Suck.

Clearly, this thread was started with the intention of starting a flame war. When ppl say that a given car "sucks", you need some frame of reference around that statement. Here's the way I look at it: The civic was designed as an affordable and reliable car with a dash of sportiness to it. Do I think it has achieved those goals? Absolutely. Relative to its design goals, the civic is a great car.
Alot of ppl use the civic as a performance platform. Yes, they can be made fast. The aftermarket support is probably second only to the mustangs. Parts are cheap and it is dead easy to work on. However, my biggest beef with modifying a civic is that once you start making some serious power, the FWD limitation forces you to make some big compromises. More often than not, you have to start either putting in mods to increase traction that kill cornering ability, or become a roll on racer only.

Thanks man. Everyone has a certain bias.. I try not to let my leanings towards domestics blind me though haha.

HAHA im sorry this is the best thread i have ever read. Thank you all for allowing me to make it through some boring work days.
A cars a car..some people love domestics, some love imports, some hate cars all together! It depends on who drives it and who is building it. If you like building j-bodys that is awesome man. If you like building Civics that is awesome too. Stop bashing each other. Bash the car companies for making them if thats the case.
Thanks again for allowing me to pass the time...
Cheers
