ya, whats your point. i dont give a if everyone drives em. i know they are the "cool" thing now. especially when other cars consider grey bumpers and unpainted black plastic to be base models and cheap, on hondas, its JDM fast. i love it.

I was talking more along the lines of the cobalt in comparison.. which is a exelent car to mod. Personally i like doing up gas guzzleing RWD V8 cars.

im not, i like imports. i hate civics/hondas and some acuras. i NEVER said i didnt like imports. just because i dont own an import, doesnt mean i dont like them.

I don't think its so much that you hate Honda. I think you just wrongly assocciate the word "rice" with it. You think every kid who does up a honda is a begginer and doesnt know what he's doing. You think honda's are just for wannabe's who get a car everyone gets. Honestly, I want to hear from you a valid reason for hating Honda.

In my opinion, its not about the freakin car you drive. Sure, like any car guy I have my preferances, and like any person I have my tastes, but it goes beyond that. It's about the work being put into a car, about the passion, and about the driving. Hating a brand based on stereotypes, that's what makes you a real beginner, and a disgrace to the tuning community.

honda owners are the worst of all owners. they are the most cocky owners and think that the civic is gods gift to cars. i used to like civics way back when before it became what it is today. civic owners have to be the worst ones out there. i am not immature, i know alot about cars and modifications. just beacause i dont like civic and am told that i have to because of its engineering and blah blah blah well i dont. simple as that.

So true.. There are ton of people on here who bash domestics from here say or what they read in the paper. Yet have never owned one or even driven one. I agree that J-bodys are a good car for the price and hold up well if you take care of them. Not everybody gives a if you use rubber based materials on radio surrounds , some people couldent care less if there was A TDC engine under the hood. SOME people just dont care about a car. , they get in and drive. Dosent matter how the build quality is on j-bodys look up old sales figures from the last 4 years they among the top 10 best selling cars in north america.

And so far, I have yet to hear a valid reason for your hate against Honda. The only argument that you have made only further supports my take on your personality. You say all civic drivers are cocky, and they believe their car is the . Guess what? That's not the civics fault. Honda didn't sell their cars equipped with stupid drivers. Like I said, you let stereotypes cloud your judgement. As a matter of fact, and I am not using this as an example to bash on cavies, but I have a friend that owns one. He believes that car is the end all, be all of automotive technology. I swear he would race a McLaren if the chance came about. And yet he doesnt own a Honda. Could it be that stupid people are to be found everywhere?

i never said that its just honda owners, but the majority are. ive been on many forums, domestic and import. its more honda owners that talk about every other car then others. if youve never been at a jbody site, which im sure you havent, youd see that rarely do people talk about other cars just to defend theirs. and living in the gta, youd see that it is true. go to a tuner "meet" at any hot spot and check out the cars and the drivers. its the civic owners that run the 1/4 mile between one tims to another, or drive down the parking lot like its a race. its civics that are the cause of all the project erase and all the hate towards any tuners whatsoever. you dont have to agree, im not being biased, just simply stating the truth. and i still dont see your point on why the fact that you base my personality on the fact that i hate hondas. am i not allowed? i in hate civics straight out. i dont care if you want to judge me as a person just because of that, thats your own issue (and that tells me about your personality that you jusge people because they dont share the same interests in cars as you), but i guess if not liking hondas is immature, ill never be mature.

I'm not saying your not allowed to hate civics. I just find it offensive, since I own a Honda, and asked you to provide me with a valid reason. Sometimes there really is a valid reason, thats why I asked.

But all I'm getting from you is that its not the car you actually hate but the people who drive them. You hate the car because you associate it with those people and the way they treat you or your car. The thing is, your not helping the situation by doing the same to them. Your acting just like they are. Be the better person.

In my opinion, I see just as many of these idiots driving in other cars then civics. Sometimes its integras, sometimes neons, sometimes probes, but it doesnt matter, because it always boils down to the same old argument, domestic vs import.

why does it always have to be domestic vs. import. it seems to me that almost all domestic owners like imports, yet, no import owners even give domestics a second thought, no matter what the car. where the maturity in that?

I dunno about that either. I know a lot of domestic owners that curse out anything import. I also know that some of my friends with imports admire some domestics too. For example, one friend recently had a cobalt as a rental car. I think we all agreed that it was a fun car.
On the other hand, I have a friend, who drives a cav (once again, not aimed at you), he thinks import = rice. To the point where an 80 year old man in a honda = rice.
I know why your so angry, it sucks when someone laughs at your car. I hate it too. But honestly, its the people who get caught up in stereotypes that are the cause of this.
