Civics Suck.

PS, when are you going to tell me why rotaries are so bad? You haven't done it yet, you've only said they were a failed technology but never actually said why.
So please... go on...

Always blabbing on about roataries like anyone gives a . Ive seen you in person and you would never blab the way you do on these forums. Kinda funny in a way. No one cares about rotaries eh? That's a good excuse to use when the truth is that you're too stupid to understand how such a simple design works.

Man some domestic owners are so ignorant. Its hard to believe they still buy into that domestic hype, it's only been dead for like the past 30 years.
Import cars are great machines. As for them rusting to , its simple really. When they first appeared in america as an alternative to gas guzzling american cars during the oil crisis, they were still being made of the same metal they were in japan. Japan and America are nowhere near to the same climate.
The best part I find about import motors is there dedication to efficiency. Small motors putting out great numbers. It saddens me to see an american 5 litre putting out the same power as a japaneese 2 litre.

i agree.. it is sad when imports do put down great power compared to a v8.. but hp doesnt win races, torque does .

1994 Toyota Supra TT, in 1994 it was $43 000US, they now sell for over $45 000cdn, in mint condition.
Depreciation muchly? We won't even get into dollar conversion rates back in 1994 because that makes the corvette of that year look even more worthless.
Eat .

difference is nobody will pay 45k for a 94 supra. Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Classic domestics have proved that in the last few years.
lets do a better comparison.
1987 buick GNX or even grand national. your choice
vs
1987 supra.
go have a look and come back with an awnser.

Why compare a RARE *** top model car with an average base model car?
GNX
Vs.
Turbo A or Group A mk3 supra, only 500 made. I bet you they would be close in price in clean condition.
And nobody will pay $45000? Then why are people able to sell them for that price. Hell, there is even a local shop that frequently sells them more MORE than that and still gets good sales. I guess a simple minded old redneck such as yourself doesn't see the capabilities of the car, but whatever to each their own. They do sell at that price.

I would not pay over $45,000 for a 94 Supra. LOL
but the value of a car is ultimately dictated by the buyer, its only worth what a buyer will pay. If some moron wants to pay 45k for a stock 94 supra, good for him.. LOL .. . .
If I had liquid cash, millions, maybe I wouldn’t care about blowing that kind of dough on an antique.

Thats why I gave you the option of the grand national as comparison instead of the GNX. The 87' grand national is hardly a rare car.
