ya my 67 firebird had a 326 pontiac engine in it. you never metioned it.
MY 68 FIREBIRD HAD A CHEVY 350 IN IT RIGHT FROM THE FACTORY. i thought you said they never came with 350,s till the late 80,s. poor guy someday you will know more about cars and might get lucky enough to own one.
if i was mean i would say to take the dick out of your mouth and wipe the out of your eye so you can read your fantasy magazine info better but i would never do that.

TRANS AMS YES NOT FIREBIRDS..... THE TRANS AM WAS NOT PRODUCED UNTIL 1969.. Your shitboxes were made in 67-68.. well back to the neon conversation....
The neon is a great handling car with decent power for the price.. the DOHC Neon came stock with 150 HP and the manuals came with amazing trannys.....
The Neon was used in the "SCCA rallys" in the states
Also a couple cheap mods, including throttle body and intake which is very restrictive from the factory and a mopar computer ur hittin 175-180HP, in a light well handling car. The neon was also available with 4 wheel disc brakes and adjustable koni shocks from the factory. Sure u might not like ur moms ugly green auto SOHC neon with granny beige interior, but dont be surprised when ur same year stock civic gets smoked by a manual DOHC.

I own a 96 neon. It is automatic..so pretty slow, but what would you expect from any 4cyl automatic economy car?????????
But I mean..I bought the fricken car for 750 bucks a year ago. Put maybe 300 into it and it was a decent car for sure. Parts are dirt cheap. You may not think its reliable..but even if it isnt..go get it fixed for 2 pennies and quit bitching. And it makes up for it.
I own a 96 neon and a 93 civic..so im not even picking sides...

I'm sorry... I should have specified. The Neon's NOT RUNNING 16'S have a problem with the differential pins... a friend with a high powered Neon told me this.
