Is the dodge neon that bad of a car?

Daily drivers are supposed to be reliable and good on gas. If I had an SRT4, my RX-7 would look like the better decision for commuting due to the fact that it gets better fuel economy...

ive seen them race lots..quicker then 16's..still havent heard of it happening..but anyways...

I'm HIGHLY doubting that. Considering a LS1 gets better gas mileage over all then a RX-8 I cant see a stock RX-7 getting better gas mileage.

My RX-7 gets 26mpg highway, I've calculated it myself, and thats running rich too... SRT4s apparently get something terrible like 18mpg...

wow that is pretty shitty! Not sure why they are that horrible on gas i think even the turbo daytonas got a better mpg then that.

all car manufacturers have base models, only fair comments are comparisons between cars in the same class, so for example the neon and a cavi
and even then both got their strong and weak points

I can tell you my Turbo Daytona gets around 35-40MPG on the highway, but thats with modified gearing and 245/40/17's. . .
