Another good reason to have a winter car, especially a bigger, higher truck is that sometimes the snow would just be too deep for an f-body. I remeber one year when I was younger, the snow was so bad here that the only car that could make it through our road was my Dad's Dodge Ram. THe other vehicles were getting stuck, and my dad had to drive his truck through to make a path for everyone else to get through.
