WTF? all you guys are serious about this stupid discussion? one idiot with an import can't accept that there is no replacement for displacement and that that a lot of domestics out there that are fast. WHy are you trying to talk about your "buddy's car" it's probably a stock K motor anyways.

WIth all that nos that your probably running to run 10's i bet you could beat him in a race. At the end of the day you domestic car still is using a push rod valve setup and carbs. WHo the hell uses carbs? FOrd couldn't figure out how to build a better mustang so they decided to use german engineers to design a brand new platform for your almighty mustang. BTW if your car is modded it isn't street leagal no performance parts in canada are carb exempt. For your info we don;t use a carb exempt system. So don't say your running nitrous and your car is street legal it an't DOT it aint legal.

For all you domentis guys just for your information the pinaccle of motorsports is Formual 1 and Ford GM and Chrysler have never participated because they can't hang. They can't keep up wiht the ever so changing technology that is a clear repesentation of their production cars.

Racing started when moonshiners wanted to get their contraband liquors to the customer as fast as possible. So naturally moonshiners started to compete with each other to see who could deliver their goods the fastest. Then slowly they stopped racing on the dirt road and onto dirt tracks for extra money. The rest is history. now do you think HONDA, TOYOTA or any other import was there? you can rant and rave all you like if it makes you feel like your smart but lets not lose site of whats really going on here, he didn't say there wasn't a fast import out there he said they hold the track up and if you have ever been to the track you would have to agree because every weekend we are held up by some over revin import that spit out the half shaft or smoked the clutch it becomes sickening after awhile to lose an hour here and an hour there because of these half put together cars.

as far as what I run, n/a I run a 9.12, and with a little 70 shot ran a 8.90
and if you want to see a real car run come down to tmp on sat, I'm will be using a bigger shot of 150, and yes my motor can take upto 450hp shot. bet you don't even know what a 450hp car feels like.

you have no idea what it takes to make a fast car, so I say you stick to what you know, and stay out of it.
unless you are going to say something about imports at the drag strip.

hey i seen that most of the domestic crowd here dont have muscle era cars with real big blocks 440 454 455 426 429 409 400 500 they have 280 305 350 385 or v-6s so put he big block deal outta the way cuz u aint got that power as in 1970 cars were loimited to 400hp so 71 mustang 429 cobra jet to 84 mustang 324hp wussy car
