I guess it's like a lisp, when most people with a lisp are really pissed off the lisp will not be noticeable, so maybe we really pissed Rude off telling him that he is a disgrace to DSM's everywhere and that the Avenger isn't truely a DSM anyways.

The Sebring coupe owes a lot of its underpinnings to the Mitsubishi Galant and to the Eclipse and Talon. Basically, the Sebring coupe is an Eclipse with wheelbase stretched to 103 inches. This makes for a much larger back seat than the Eclipse/Talon have, with more leg room, and, in particular head room in the back seat. The dash is basically shared with the Eclipse/Talon. The engine options differ in that the high performance 4 cylinder available on the Eclipse/Talon is not available on the Sebring, but, instead, a 2.5 liter V6 is available. The optional V6 (standard on the LXi) is built by Mitsubishi, and is based on the 3.0 engine originally used by Chrysler as the V6 option in their mini-vans.

My parents use to have an 89 Caravan. Congratulations on having any motor based on that more oil than gas eating brick engine. No wonder that 2.5L V6 sucks *** so much.

Woah woah, dont get the 3800 involved in this headgasket business. Far as I know its the 3.1s and 3.4s that blows headgaskets regularly.

wasnt refering ot the 3800. i think its a fantasic motor and very strong. the other motors are gasket eaters, especially manifold gaskets

hey man i own one of these :| besides expensive parts and terrible ball joints it hasnt been too bad. performance wise....eh but its still a nice looking car in my opinion. 180+k and still no tranny failure. wheuw
