another thing i notice, is the kenne belle is the only big power making s/c unit for a 94-95 GT, if i were to go centrifugal i was looking at vortech and there is only one kit, and it doesnt say if its upgradeable. If i do go s/c i dont want to throw the stuff together myself i'd like it to be an off the shelf kit. so 3.55's and the kenne belle will make some pretty impressive power eh? but on the track is it going to run out of steam, is it more just a fun weapon to have ont he sreet because i'd like to be getting the most, ET wise for my money

They have the Novi 2000 kit for the 94-95s. They have lots of airflow potential. Higher boost levels and it excels. If you're going centrifugal, this would be my choice. It comes with an 8-10lb pulley, and at that level I'd suggest a custom tune.
The Vortech SQ system isn't really upgradeable and will never match the Novi's airflow. The SQ system is more in line with Paxton's Novi 1000.
With a centrifugal car, I'd go with 3.73 gears out back.
Since you'd go with the Kenne Bell Flowzilla + GT40 lower right off the bat, you could get away with running low boost for now and upping it later with the right bottom end. It will still make lots of power and you'll get that torque right away. Before upping the boost with a twin screw blower, I'd highly suggest giving the suspension and frame of the car a once over. Good control arms and a set of torque box reinforcement kits along with suspension of choice, and possibly a roll cage would be good upgrades at this point.
Both styles of blower kits would fit nice and easy on your car of choice, and you can install them yourself at home with simple tools (1 exception). If you go centrifugal you have to tap the oil pan for an oil return line from the blower.
The choice is yours, they'll both be fun and they'll both be quick on the street and track. Do you prefer instant gratification or gradual pleasure? I like lots of torque right away with good top end HP, thats why I love turbos.

well whats closer to a turbo set-up with the 2 style blowers i have in mind, i have always preferred turbo power but no on a daily driver, s/c is just so much simpler, less to worry about. I like a 1/4 mile assasin just that it has to be able to commute as a daily driver, not as comfortable as OE obviously, but on that fine line of being to much for the street.

Is there big gains by just using the 4v mod motor as a platform to build? or in the end does it not matter very much? the only reason i considered a 99-04 GT was it was newer i wouldnt have to focus on too much maintenance right away i could get away just driving it and modding as i went along, if i got a 94-98 odds are im gonna have to bring it back up to par before i can start adding some power.
