how can use guys rev to 8 stock then? if u remove the rev limiter your not stock anymore

hahah.. well, ive never revved mine to 8gs..but the person in question said he revved his STOCK 302 to 8,000..

But they edited their stance after..

there is a rev limiter at 8500, its called grenading..

Well, dont listen to anyone that claims to rev a stock (or anything without top notch internals and heads/intake/cam) 302 to 8000 RPM. I would say 99% of all Stangs out there are not only incapable of making power up to 8k, but they would grenade if you tried to rev that high on more than one occasion. If you have a carburated engine, you dont have a rev limiter. Anyone trying to rev a stock 302 past 6000RPM is a retard.
