Post Additives?

I was wondering how do you feel about additives in general? Since I get a decent discount I was thinking of adding an entire round of additives to my car (oil, tranny, fuel, radiator/cooling, and power steering). Are additives like these actually useful or are they just a ploy used to get your money?

That is what I thought. I know Lucas is very bad about foaming in the engine (yet it sells like crazy). What about the stuff for the tranny and power steering system?

What about sea foam tranmission additive? I'm just messing with you since you support sea foam so much.

i used the restore engine oil additive thingy and it claims it can restore compression and it actually worked. i had an average of 130 psi and afterward i had an average of 150 psi.

Don't ask me why but for some reason O'Reillys stopped carrying all restore products.

they are odd, I've used restore in engines and it helped a little, but for teh stuff to do what it's supposed to the cylinder temp needs to be around 2000 degrees (from what an engineer who works with the stuff told me)
