Additives?

Additives?
I was wondering how do you feel about additives in general? Since I get a decent discount I was thinking of adding an entire round of additives to my car (oil, tranny, fuel, radiator/cooling, and power steering). Are additives like these actually useful or are they just a ploy used to get your money?

i used the restore engine oil additive thingy and it claims it can restore compression and it actually worked. i had an average of 130 psi and afterward i had an average of 150 psi.

they are odd, I've used restore in engines and it helped a little, but for teh stuff to do what it's supposed to the cylinder temp needs to be around 2000 degrees (from what an engineer who works with the stuff told me)
