its really all up to you. im not sure what i would do if i was in your position. an ls1 swap would be but would cost way too much. i say get an lt1 and swap your body parts over...all of them.then just paint the roof and quarter panels hahahhah totally kidding

im pretty sure the worst decision is to go cheap on a hooker.
Torque, you're right. swaps are just such a pain don't bother with it unless you have mad cash to throw around. thats the only way i would do it otherwise save yourself the headache and buy something with an v8 already in.
Paint is much easier to change than engines are.

and justin its a headache cuz something was installed in the car that wasnt original, and not only that, but you werent the one who did it. trust me, thats never a good situation to be in. ive worked on many cars like that.
