Post A must read for any LT1/LT4 owner.

My copy of the Gen II rebuild book just came in today and I'm very pleased with this purchase. If you have the tools, time, and patience I feel you could almost rebuild an engine with the knowledge in this book.

And finally my tranny stuff came in as well.

Bolt kit.

The pan has basically a mirror finish, to bad it is going under my car. I also need to steal the magnet out of my old pan since this one didn't come with one.

cool. i wanna get a book like that to read everynow and then before i rebuild my motor. cause my dad and i have built a lot of motors before but they are all pre 72.lol. i also heard Bosch Fuel Injection is a really good book to read and understand how it all works with our newer EFI cars.

I have been looking around for one myself (to pass time) and I cannot find one.

I've seen it on eBay as well as several FBody shops sell it.

it should just pull out (they stick pretty good) on the new pan I would use a little oil proof epoxy (they never seem to stick to the aftermarket pans for some reason)

OMFG, this book tells you every size bolt used on the engine (does this surprise anyone but me).

HPPbooks > anything Chilton's or Hanyes willl ever make
