obviously you've never raced. no offense but for a 17 yo i have way more experience than most of this board, so dont talk trash. the cars trap speed says it all and if you read my post about the Pontiac running 13.99 at 95, it kinda explains too. 101 trap speed equates to about a 13.5 or so with a 2.0 60' give or take a bit. the car is a pain to launch and its extremely difficult with the tires i have, the clutch i have and the rear end gears i have. also like i said before, the car womps on stock LS1s and hangs with LS1s with same mods, so call that slow. ill admit it right now, im not driving the car to its potential but im being safe because differentials cost a bit too much for me to be replacing right now.

if anyone thinks its slow, by all means come out there with me, race right next to me and see how you do. no body knows until they do it. they watch these videos online and **** and then think 13s are slow because the car isnt making 800 horse with 50k invested. majority of cars on the street are not even 15 second cars and you clown are on here bashing me. id love to see you guys break 15.5's

it's truly an eye-opener as to what goes into racing. if you havent tried it, dont talk smack.

also if you did, what was elevation, temp, 60' and trap speed?

With that said... So when I raced my roomates 94 gt stang and held with him does that mean I can run a 14.3 at the track like him?

btw, I bet you I could break 15.5.. Maybe Ill go this fall and let you know and post my timeslip. Youre not gonna complain about humidity and temp differences are you?

No slip anymore sry, I had it scanned onto my computer and it crashed as well was on a v6 site before they took down the timeslips. Your welcome to come down and ask everyone I know that was there about it I mean who cant remember a stock v6 racing on a track with hubbys on

i said i womped a stock LS1 tonight, and ive been slowly walked by a cammed LS1 and i was pretty much even with my friends LS1 SS with same mods.

im not complaining at all about temp and elevation but they do have a lot to do with the outcome of racing, as well as track prep.

my friends 350 auto Iroc ran a 15.2 and thats a 3200 lbs car at most, these 4th gens weigh like 3700+. im sorry but i cant see your 3.8's or w/e the **** they are beating that. w/e tho, talk all the crap you guys want, like the rest of the world does and these uneducated ******* who "street race", i swear to god, no body knows **** about **** and they talk like they do. w/e.

for the record, im sure you guys knew this, but launchin an auto on street tires is, ill say it again, like falling down the stairs compared to an M6 on DRs.

again, looking for ADVICE, not criticism or other stupid BS.

ok paar and jason...both you ers drive little no torque automatics. all you have to do is push the gas and prey you can get a small chirp from the tires...dont say otherwise i used to own one.

you dont know **** about launching a manual trans with 350+ ft lbs of torque. bottom line, we're faster, so stfu.

anyway matt, since no one wants to help, i'd say get some LCAs and anti-squat brackets to start, then maybe drag launch springs but those might not be what youre looking for since you were talking about lowering it...

ill let you know, 3800s are a little lighter than an 8. So theyre quite a bit less than 3700 lbs. Im not talking ****, Im speaking from what Ive seen, timeslips Ive read. Theres been stock v6s getting into 13s believe it or not, check out ftv6 sometime with caleb, youd be surprised that v6s can run faster than, YES, the alimighty 15.5! Just because youve been to the track a couple times, doesnt meen your a ****** expert, and gives you some authority and power to act like you know the ******* world. I dont care what age you are, theres been people doing it a lot longer than you have, and that know a lot more about it. Just because youre pissed off about not being able to hook, what gives you the right to come and start ****-talking about v6s? Making up random times, weights, saying a v6 cant beat this, a v6 does that, ext...
