Ya know after many years of owning f bodies which are the best .theymade frist mod before body I have found is motor an trans You might look into older motor carb best t o mod because no coumpter need just good cam an crank an pistons you can build an good one for arround 600.Then can rewire for no computer real easy after that try a 5 speed or 6 by arround 500-1000 at salvage yard or maybe find wreacked one on ebay or somewhere that way you have rear to the run 4"headers with 3" ex.into 12" glasspack no flow rection after that get good set of tires wider on rear an good paint then play with in side as fars as a turbo is frist overrated if you want turbo go again to any salvage yard get one of any turbo car I had a 1988 with 327 an put a lebron turbo on just goto muffel shop or welding have hole cut i ex. an weld flow pipe an attch it

I read this and understood about 50% of it, but from what I understand he says you should swap in a carbed v8 That would be really f'ing expensive and not a good idea for a DD.

And you cant just go to a junk yard and pick up a turbo from a Chrysler, slap in on a car and go fast. Our cars need a lot of custom fab work to run a turbo efficiently plus the turbos on the 4 cyl Chrysler's were $hitty anyway. You can pick up a brand new T3/T4 for ~$350 that'll give you TONS more CFM's that a used, 10 year-old, junky Chrysler turbo from a junkyard.

And you mentioned glasspacks???? Lmao!! Worst excuse for exhaust mod evar
