storing your car

If you are going to check it often I would just seal off your exhaust so they can't get in there and put mouse traps around the car.
The downside to using poison is that they can either store the poison in some small orifice in your car and you are stuck with the smell, or worse yet the mouse dies inside your car.
Stick with the moth ***** and dryer sheets, but nothing beats a good 'ol mouse trap with peanut butter.

I suggest steel wool in the exhaust tips.
The only place I had a mouse last year was in the intake box, it didn't get anywhere else.
I agree with ForceFed that mouse traps would be great as long as you check it often. Just don't leave any food or crap in your car that the mice might want.
