Ok, I have an 4 speed auto. You all know that. And it's built so no stock chit. I like it. Dont hate.

Would it be rice to have a shift light? What if it was free? I have a shift kit so I CAN technically shift it manually if i want.....

the only reason for a shiftlight in an auto is if its a manual valve body in which you will ALWAYS have to shift it yourself. i wouldnt do it. i found it to be impractical in my 6 speed, just cause i can look at the tach and see when i need to shift, its really not that big of a deal unless you have a precisely tuned motor that is bracket racing and needs to be shifting dead on, every time.

dude that is WAY rice. plus a shift kit wont be the way to manually shift it. it can still hurt the trans. like matt said, you need a complete manual valve body. no solenoids, no accumulators, nothing.

mine is the best though. its not attached to a huge *** tach, its completely hidden. and its awesome, cuz when im railin it on the street paying attention to traffic i dont need to take my eyes off the road to look at a tach. its bright *** red light baby!

Ok, well this is the other thing - no one but me will ever see it. I've mounted it inside the cowl. So it's only me who will see the bright red flash. I like it. Sorry. I'd rather have an auto over a manual tranny anyway.
