Pick a car you want to drive everyday and look forward to driving everyday. I drive a Mustang Cobra, but obviously with the price of gas, i am not pushing you in that direction. get a fun car that is pretty good on gas say 22-25 around town. Don't buy an accord/Camry etc. those are boring commuter cars. I love driving my car. I am a domestic guy but the Newer Eclipse might be something you could be interested in for commuting. The GS gets 20 around town and 24 highway. Again buy something fun not practical.
