if its not in the car, which im guessing its not, theres a tool you can get, or make, that fits in the large hex and allows you to get on the nut still

zman will become famous soon enoughzman will become famous soon enough
If the tranny's off you can wedge a breaker bar and 17mm 12pt socket against the ground attached to a flywheel bolt to keep the engine from rotating, but be prepared to support the engine b/c it will want to fall when you torque on it.
Or hammer a pry bar between the flywheel and block, kind of in behind the flywheel wedged against the block.
If the flywheel is off, just grab two bolts thread them into where the flywheel attaches and wedge a bar between the two bolts and the ground.
If the tranny's attached take the flywheel cover off and wedge a pry bar between the teeth of the flywheel, this will require another person to do this b/c you have to hold it in there tight otherwise it will slip out.
I know on some crank pulleys (not sure if this applies to the ZC) there are holes you can feed some bolts through and wedge a bar between the bolts and the frame of the car or the suspension, i did this on a 95 hatch with a d15b8.

Use an impact gun. I'm going to have to do this soon because i have a blasted auto so i can't just pop it in gear to keep from spinning.
