i just put a d16 dohc in my girl freinds crx, everything clicked in right expect the wiring connection thats connected with a bracket to what looks like a voltage regulator, now the thing is.
the engine has 8 wires, but the harness on the car has only 6, i need to cross some wires people. what wire gose where?

ok well your explination of the harness is not that great. So pics asap would be great, however you prolly mean a d16 Sohc (single over head cam) or otherwise a b16 Dohc (dual over head cam).

then you are thinking of a zc , which is a 1.6 litre yes but never really refered to as a d16. This should be plug and play except for the Cam angle sensor. Dohc zc comes in obd0 and obd1.

Anyways i will wait on the pictures.:thumbsup:
