door shaving

Hey guys, another question for you... I want to shave the back two doors completely and take the handles from the back two and put them in the front, just to get rid of the key lock.... so since I'm not shaving all four doors completely, should or do I still need to get poppers for the back ones or just unlock it manually from the inside?

i would not shave the handles or any trim at all! Most of the time when it is done it is done so poorly and usually the rust can easily come back. There are some amazing body products on the market but i am a fan of oem design. Shaving the handles will only lead to hassles.

you shouldn't have a problem if done correctly. i've had a few vehicles that i shaved the handles on, that were winter driven and i never had a problem with rust.

I'd take them all off, not just two.
