HELP: HID blinks
HELP: HID blinks
Hi everyone,
I have installed a McCullogh 9006 8000K HID kit into my 1998 Integra. At the night time when I turn on the HID about 10 seconds. My right side head light will blinks once. Does anyone know what's the problem is? Will it kill my HID? or How to fix this problem?
Thank you!

First thing I would suggest, change the ballast around.. if the passenger exhibits that issue, than it's a ballast issue. can be other things.. but lets start with that first. Did you wire it up to the battery or off the OEM wiring?
EDIT: IT will hurt your capsule if your ballast is still in warm up mode ( which it probably is )
EDIT AGAIN: If you're runnin power from OEM wires.. cut/disconnect the bad side.. and hook it up directly to your Battery.. if it stops the flicker.. you know for sure your OEM wiring isn't sufficient ( and all HID should be wired directly to Battery with relay triggers ( harness ) anyways for cars that doesn't come with it ).
