I need intake help

I currently have a 96 cx hatch with a stock motor I know still in school, waiting for a new engine but anyways I bought a vibrant intake a couple of weeks ago but because of the way it sits, so high up I can't fit my new dc strut bar over top of it because it keeps hitting the pipe , so my question is what intake can I get that will bend properly to fit my strut bar over it

pick up another intake manifold, one from an older d series or a Y8, itll give more top end power and sit lower, and your intake will fit properly. it goes on with little modification and u can use your original throttle body, injectors, fuel rail, etc...

yeah simple solution would be to get a new strut bar and cheaper too! If the new one rubs a bit just throw some sticky foam padding so you dont get an annoying rattle.

thats true, an intake on a stock cx will do nothing, the manifold needs to be swapped too. pick up a header for the si, it'll flow loads better and get rid of the cat. makes an interesting ricey crackle noise, hehe, actually makes a difference tho. best mod for a stock cx is to swap in the si tranny.
