Exclamation LS-VTEC w/ b16a ECU -- HELP!

hey,

I just got my LS-Vtec 2 weeks ago, and we got the Vtec hooked up this past weekend. After running the car for approx. 2-3 minutes, the check engine light comes on. We ran the codes and came up with:

20 ELD
23 Knock Sensor

The block that we used to build the engine does not have a spot to put the knock sensor, and we know from experience and reading, that we cannot get rid of the ELD code.

I'm Wondering if it would be a better idea to put in the knock sensor, and get the ECU chipped to get rid of the ELD code, or just get the ECU chipped to get rid of both codes? ALSO, I am looking for someone that knows, and can chip an ECU. Yes, i have looked on e-bay, but i rather have someone that has looked at the engine, and knows what i need, to program me one.

Thanks!

Johan

whats that i hear....of wait "bs bs bs bs".....why does sarcus do nothing but complain about working on your car....yes, you have changed the spark plugs, and yes, you did your ignition coil and wait....your oil catch can and intake....but what about the exhaust, engine mounts, turbo mods.....and im sure there is more...

really and truly....i didnt have a chance to help steve with the swap...i asked him, but he was going way to fast for me to help him...i would only be in the way....and btw...the cam gears....we did tighten them, but they came loose....next time...listen to the whole story, and dont assume stuff....
