Too much internet bullshit in this thread. Figure out what engine you want yourself, don't let other people tell you what to do.

That being said, sell your Honda and buy a Mazda 323 hatchback, then swap a 1.8L turbo (BPT) in it with some sort of standalone engine management. They aren't as nice looking as an EG Civic, but if you know what you're doing, you can easily out run every swapped Civic out there.

zman maybe you are right aboult the rods but that engine is a very capable motor
especialy in stock trim i have seen k20 hit 200+ with only minor bolton and a ecu swap
iam not dising the B series or enny thing but it cost me an arm and a leg
wen i built my track car and yielded very little result
iam speaking from experience if i had to do it again i would have gone K and have another boosted B
