I haven't heard anything bad bout the NGK wires.. but I personally suggest OEM or Beldens.. ( Accel was alright.. just be weary bout the custom do it yourself one.. if you don't crimp the ends on correctly.. you may not be delivering the sparks or enough current to the plugs due to loose connection). Pre made would be better cause you can't blame yourself and would have some type of warrenty

For 3.8L V6 GM, a lot of people are having issues with their Taylor wires, so IMO stay away from them.

Look to see if you your car has Mendral bend exhaust piping ( may have to go cat back pipeing ( hi flo cat ), Magnaflow exhaust ( best bang for the buck ).. if you're worried bout ricey farty sound.. put a resonator after the cat

ok thanks, will the resonator decrease any performance at all? cause you hit the nail on the head with the farty sound, definately wanna avoid that
When you mention the magnaflow exhaust, are you talking about the chrome can type style or the rectangular type exhaust? I don't know much about cars since I've only owned trucks. but can you put the rectangular muffler on a civic or am i stuck with the chrome can?

The REsonator won't depreciate any noticable power lost ( anything under 5hp more then likely you won't really notice it ) Its a baffle design( I think thats wat it's called.. baffle ) ( much like Magnaflow ) so it doesn't restrict airflow, it may slow down your exhaust velocity.

Think of it as you have a 3" pipe with another 1" pipe inside it.. the 1" inside pipe wall is preforated ( like cheese grater with bunch of holes in it ) and some sound deadening material between the pipes.. so the sound wave gets muffled in there.

I know nothing bout civics.. so I would suggest to measure your exhaust to see if there's a universal rectangular that will fit
