What is the correct battery for a 1997 Honda Accord?

I bought an Interstate battery from a Firestone dealership and they sold me a group 24F. I understand the F means reversed terminals. The terminals were in the incorrect position for my car. I checked the web and several sites listed the correct battery as a group 24F but I found one site listing the OEM as a group 24 - non F and distinguishing the Prelude models as having the 24F. This car has never has cables replaced or otherwise altered to fit a 24F. Can someone point to proof on the web that I don't need the 24F and that I need a 24 non F? And thereby prove that some of these websites like Interstate have the incorect information? Or can someone set me straight?
