You can't expect to get any great gains with bolt-ons when you're working with a cheap 4 cylinder engine. It's like putting a cow in horse race. Regardless of how much training you give the cow...it's not going to beat even the slowest horse.
Your car is not fast, nor was it meant to be fast. Stop training the cow and buy yourself a horse if you want to run with the big boys.
