Is it better to race in D3? I notice it shifts at a higher rpm but idk if that helps while racing. Will D3 work as a down shift when driving up hills? I hate when the engine dosent respond when driving up hill!

In your car, D is where your car switches automatically between 4 gears. In D# mode, your car switches only between 3. In this, your car will travel to a higher RPM before shifting into another gear. This is why we get more power. If you switch the gear from D to D3 your car, if travelling in the fourth gear will switch to the first gear of the D3 mode. If this happens, the first gear will be forced to accelerate upto 13,500 RPM to compensate with the rotating rear shaft. That is why your gearbox and transmission can blow out.So don't try and do that!
