my honda civic engine is alot louderthan i want it to be. how do i make it quieter?

Probably valve chatter. New valve springs? Do you mean your EXHAUST is too loud?

really? the civic engine isn't very loud to begin with. most aftermarket parts make your car louder, but if you want to go the other way, look into a few different mufflers or exhaust systems.
