I have a 2001 LS1 Fbody, fully stock. The only thing that I have done is change the spark plugs. I ran in Cayuga last summer (it was a hot day 25-30C) on a sunday afternoon best time = 13.521@109mph
60'=2.170
330'=5.926
1/8=8.897
mph=82.45
1000'=11.414
1/4=13.521
mph=109.41

This was with really crappy street tires. And on pump gas (ultra 94).

Must be some pretty impressive Civic to smoke an LS1. 335ft/lbs of torque at 4000rpm, it might be a bit heavier, but there is no replacement for displacement.

I'm not saying you didn't smoke the camaro... but if you did, you must have something impressive done to that civic.

Maybe you did maybe you didnt. LS1's are awsome. Even more so when you see the odd 2005-05 GTO in canada. I too have hear dof those cars running 12s off the showroom floor (camaro not gto).

I sold the civic because of cop hassles everyone knows that...My camaro was my first car and its in the building stages...I will run you but im trying to not go broke right away and still get it done...im trying for this year if not so be it...its not the end of the world...You wont have enough ILL put money on you not having enough...and best of all we'll do it at the track so spectators and GTCARS audience can see you dont have enough...Also id like to take a picture after our pass of you handing me the money...me taking the money...me giving you a tissue...n me laughing my *** off

Lotta f'in talk around here on the Intrenet but come Wednesday at HK 3 stock Honda's with Wings show up and get sent home by a stock Sentra.

Are these the Civic's my Camaro will lose too or are you thinking of the V6 Firebird I was driving 3 F'ing years ago???

1 or two serious Honda's (Civic's & 'ludes) have shown up at HK and Still didn't beat the T-Bird so WTF???
