Im trying to get it done...i have most everything to get it going but my machine shop has the block getting worked and well he's on holidays for the next 2 weeks...few parts are on order and i got more on my plate than my stomach can handle...Im hoping this year it'll be good but joe you dont have enough i know it im not messing this time its not a true legal street car...its a cheater street/track car....it can drive on the street but things on it arent really legal...Like you were going on about b4 i will this time be on a drag radial (cheater slick) and have a serious motor on some serious sauce...my shot will probably be the equivalent of you powertrain if it doesnt get done b4 the racing season is done im gonna have to do an on hoist break in period in the off season and dyno tune it straight to a T...

I'd love to if the Camaro was out. It is currently a work in progress.

I am swapping out the Mild (350+hp/350ci) Motor and working on another motor that will make it a little more intresting. That and suspension & new rear gearing.

when it's done I won't be losing to N/A Civic's with fart cans like the ones I've seen at a lot of meets.

I am not saying there arn't Fast Civics because I've seen plenty. What setup are you running? B-18, B-16, H-22 ???

I own a civic, and I pay respect where respect is due, Ive seen some impressive Honda's and domestics. With that being said, I dont understand why browkid is being so shaddy on his set up, he claimed to pump ls1, yet is claiming not to have tires or this and yet, but he can yanks on a ls1 like it is a normal thing to do daily.
Kinda find this hard to swallow.....

But......
* Throttle body is the same as the 88-91 CRX/CIVIC SI
* Upgrade your exhaust. This makes a big difference in power
* 88-89 Integra ecu will make an even bigger difference in power
* The internals of the ZC feature dome shaped pistons and rods that are a little stronger then the CRX/CIVIC SI
* HKS makes cams for the ZC, here are the specs, 256 degrees intake and exhaust duration, 5.95mm Intake lift, 5.3 mm exhaust lift, they are ground from new billets.

* There is a rumor that Greddy/Trust originally designed the 92-95 Civic turbo kit for the ZC CRX. With a little fabrication this kit should work on a ZC.
* Header: any D16 series header will match the bolt holes, but the ports wont match correctly. Using a header made for a 88-91 CRX/CIVIC SI and grinding the ports(on the header) works great.

Performance:

Expect to beat stock GS-R's if you have an intake, exhaust, and Integra ecu.

1/4 mile around 15.2-15.5 for a CRX with AC/sunroof/full interior with the above modifications. 15.6-15.9 for Civics with the same modifications.

Expect to run 14.7-15.1 with a DC header, AEM/ICEMAN or homemade cold air intake, good 2 1/4 exhaust, enlarged Tbody ,and integra ECU. CRX of course, add .3-.5 for Civic HB.

Assuming what is posted is correct, I would have to guess you are spraying or on boost.

I dislike Civic's because My buddy had one with a B-18-C something, the 195hp stock one out of the acuras and ran it off the road and almost killed himself and another friend.

That and the additude you get from kids who think there Vin Deisel cuz they have a Warm air intake, a fart can and a park bench attached the the back .

How fast is your Turbo Charged Civic? The T-bird Put away a Turbocharged Lude by 4 Lenths last month and the Camaro will be very close to that type of performance when it's done.

I'd like to see this '79 Camaro when its done. Is it a Z-28 ??? I am a fan . I like the '78 better Cuz there are many 1 year only details most people overlook. Maybe we can have a run Next year. Nobody could rush me with mine. Haste makes waste.

78s are nice but lack many things that 79-81 z28 had like flares ,etc. I do however like the curved dash found in the 1978 and prior models.

My Maro is a 79 Berlinetta T-Top originally 350 "L" and th350 trans and posi rear factory sway bars etc...So its a Z package without Z flash so in reality its a wolf in sheeps clothing

Now its a 4 bolt main 350 block 383 stroker
aluminum Heads
750 Demon carb
open plenum Manifold
Equal length tuned headers
almost 11:1 compression
COMPLETE BOTTOM END IS FORGED
Roller cam .575 lift intake and exhaust 255* duration
roller rockers and lifters
There's alot more on the engine and LAUGHING GAS...

Transmission is a TH400 with a 3000 Stall fully built recently
Rear end is 10 bolt chev posi 4.10 gears chromoly axles built to handle
Suspension is beefed leaf spring
Converted to full frame
Urathane Chassis bushings
Comp Engineering Slide a link traction system (awesome tunability)
And theres a few other lil tricks i got going on but i dont think a 22egT is gonna have enough but time will tell
