Anyone ever outrun the cops?

in 2003 i was racing a good friend at a stupid spot when in the middle of the run a cop pulls out of nowhere up ahead and starts coming towards us with his cherries on. i was in the wrong lane but i had the lead so i got in the right lane, but then the cop puts his car sideways to block us. i went around the cop, turned my lights off, and took off. by the time i got to the end of the road i was going 170+ (in a 50), its a T intersection, i brake hard and go straight into the ditch. My friend who I was racing took off too but he pulled over eventually with cruisers behind him….. The cops were there watching us. we both got arrested, charged with Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police (criminal charges), got a street racing ticket each, and loose our license. not fun…. 19 months later all charges and tickets are thrown out. No jail time, no criminal record, no tickets. but lawyers are not cheap and court is not fun. I learned my lesson (my friend did too). But unfortunately some of you guys are going to have to do it the hard way.

i was on the 427 going north , i was in the fast lane at ~ 140 just after burnamthorpe .. i glance at my rear view mirror and i see the flashing lights in the distance before dundas exit.. i panicked for a second slowed down doing 100, thought about my fine, demerit points , insurance and i said this im not getting a ticket .. cop car was about 8 or maybe a couple more cars behind me in the center lane. i then dropped it down to 3rd gear .. took it up to 140 and took the rathburn exit . cop was stuck in the traffic but saw him getting on the same off ramp , his siren loud as hell .. i then took a couple of turns into some residential streets, parked my car at the back of some apartment building on xxxx xxxx stayed there for about 10 mins then drove home.
damn close call , but i made it

man, we didnt leave that hole till like 4-5 in the morning.

I Wad drivin down tauton i oshawa when i saw a black cavalier Some people told me it was pretty quick i wa swith my gilrfriend at the time so we started racin. We were even when we passed this cop we were doin like 140 in a 60 the cop pulled a u turn and flicked on his cherries and came after ous. i slowed down and was liek that flored it and the cav took off down harmaony i kept goin hopin he would follow him. He did i went into the timhortons plaza there and there was 3 cops in there luckly the cop who was chasin ous didnt dispatch help. i crept by them parked waited for the cops to leave and took off went to harmanoy to see if the cop had pulled the cavy over no one i site he ot away too.
that was a scary moment in my life.

2 summers ago i was in my 86 z28 going up division street (kingston) it's a two lane road i was messing around with a friend in a stang came up to vity works where the cops like to sit and hide thats where the road turns in to a two lane buddy of mine jumped beside me in the next lane and i slowed down for the cops he in punshed it going bye and did it from the corner where they cant see ya so i'm like it and hit it as well passed him and the crusier sitting there got half way up the street seen the crusier coming up the hill buddy of mine turned off some where think the grave yard i turned my lights off took the first left then another left in to a aprt building sat there for about 8 seconds then cop went bye stayed for another 5 mins then my cell rings buddy of mine asked where i was i told him and then he was like i got away too i was 10 mins away from home so i took the back streets home the lucky part is where i turned off there's a taxi place there and cops sit there too no cop was there so i could have been ed if there was

My suggestin is that if u have a import car and your running from the cops is that u take as many corners as fast as your car can handle... cus look at what kind of car the cops are in ...TANKS... there cars do not turn even close to yours.. So running from the cops isn't as hard as u think if u know the right thing to do..

the only promblem is .....the cops would still take you on the straights.....once the lil import topped out the cops would fly up and surround your ***
