Anyone ever outrun the cops?

My wife and I are both pretty aggressive drivers. Sometimes she calls ME a ...LMAO!
Anyways, both of us have had a couple of close calls, where the cop is on one side and we are flying in the opposite direction. We see brakes slam and we know we gotta drop the hammer and get out of there quick. Over the last couple of years though, I have slowed down. The 10 tickets I had in the first 10 years of driving got me to drive a little less crazy.
But my wife still likes to push it. Right now we have a TSX, but in our previous modded-RSX with she loved to push it into Vtec territory.
One night, without me in the car, she was coming back from her parent's place in Brampton back to our place in Toronto. My brother-in-law in his Civic was driving behind her but she soon lost him coming down Kennedy Rd just before Derry. As she passes the Hockey Arena, a cop was sitting there waiting to pick off my poor little wifey...except she was flying by so fast that she didnt see him! (This may also be due to her in-born ability to absolutely miss cops on the side of the road. How this woman does not have a speeding ticket I cant figure out...so many times on the highway I have the bacon smelled out miles ahead and she totally misses them until I ask her if she saw the "po-po" picking people off and she was totally oblivious. Must be nice to live in the clouds...)
Anyways, she flies by and the copper can barely fumble his way out of the driveway and flip his cherries on. My brother-in-law is way behind but he sees all of this.
Anyways, Kennedy Rd has a hump that goes over the 407 Highway. So she flies up the road and then at the bottom of the hump is the Derry Rd intersection. Turn left on Derry, go 200 metres and you have the off-ramp to the 410 South...she catches the light, (thankfully there were no oncoming cars or she would have needed to stop) turns left, and then flies off the ramp.
Anyways, slow-joe copper is just barely over the hump...doesnt see her turn and continues heading south past Derry Rd. My brother-in-law sees all of this and almost drives off the road he is laughing so hard. The next day he tells us what happened and I look at my wife with that "I would've killed you" look on my face, but she didnt care, she thought it was the funniest thing. Sure...but I am the one that pays the tickets and insurance..LMAO!

I was a lil north of st. clair on bathurst one night and the cops always sit on the hill watchin speeders goin over the bridge. I got nailed, and started to slow down cause the cop had already pulled forward with his cherries on... but he got blocked by all the other traffic (it was like 7 pm).
I ducked into a subdivision and made a couple turns and parked in someone's driveway... and sat... and waited for like fifteen minutes... then continued home.
I haven't really 'ran' or 'out-run' a cop.

it would be pretty interesting to hear some of these stories from a cop's point of view. there's no doubt u cops are reading these posts, so why dont u drop a line or 2 guys? 
also, i've been hearing about cops driving pimp cars as well. my friend was smoking some drugs a couple weeks ago when these 3 cops in superman shirts rolled up in a modified civic, neon, and some SUV with 24's. they arrested his buddy for having weapons but gave my friend back his joint? :thumbsup but somebody told me that these cops will race you in their tuners and sh*t, after the race they give you a ticket. kinda sweet, also a little f*cked. at least u get a race out of it.

I never have but this guy ino who use to go to hamilton street races told me about this yellow vette that always use to go to cayuga and try and drive it but the thing was just to dam fast for the driver it had i think like a 90 mill turbo in it the car was cappable of doing easy high 7's or low 8's but anyways he took it down to this street and raced down there and the cops would come everytime and he would just fly by them then like a month later they got a warnent for his car but he sold it to some guy in florida b4 they could take it.

how do you know for certain hes coming after you if you see him way back in you rrearview with cherries on?
sometimes yes and sometimes no, im sure.
ive had a few simliar stories...and its always when they are driving the other way and have to turn around.
if im speeding on the highway and they are clocking at the side, i dont even bother slowing down. just keep crusing and whatever speed*typically 140ish* and ive yet to be pulled over for speeding
just becareful out there.

Lol , I remember about 2 years ago , after just smoking GSRMAtt :hah: I parked my car on the side of steeles like everyone else , and all of a sudden after the CRX and the I Rock took off a cop car came .
The po's had a flash light , and my car was third in line on the side of the road . They looked at the first 3 then stoped right at the 4-th to talk to the driver who'se car aparently had broken down on the side of the road cough cough Sir cough Chirp cough :P .
As I saw that i quickly got in my car , and took off . People told me that once I had turned off steels some 12 cruises came , and gave everyone tickets .
That was some freaky , glad I had a fatty all rolled up waiting in the car for me

just this weekend i was cruising down a 2 lane street with a median.. my buddy in his 2002 Mustang GT with the paxton blower pulls up and we raced... cop was goin oher way and had to go all the way around the median and chase us... if the light after the one we raced from wasnt green, we'd be ed... anyway.. 185 KM'h up a HUGE hill and 5 minutes later i pulled a u turn and came back the other way.. the police were cruising down the highway with the bush lights on top lit up... i thot it was a truck... anyway.. he didnt even stop for me.. kept goin.. never caught either of us.. it was sweet

couple of months ago in my 01 ITR i took off,
I had no plates, and I was going doing 50km/h over... i was at an intersection and a car was infront of me and a crown vic pulled behind me and put the cherries on.
I made a left onto a rural area and pulled over.
As soon as i seen the fat guy get out and half way inbetween my car and his, I launch the car @ 6000rpms and pull like a bat outta hell.. 1st gear 80, redlined 2nd @ 110.. 3rd at over 150.. next thing i know i buried the needle past 220 and he is nowhere to be seen.. make a few lefts get back into the city and its gravy baby.
Crown vics are slow gyus.. they are 4000lbs pigs that accelerate to 100 in like 9 seconds and do the 1/4 mile in 16.5/17..... if you have a fast enough car, and the *****. go for it. lol
I'd like to see a pig versus my Hype R in turns !

well i wasent chased by a cop it was worse
We went out one night in my buddys 1970 GTO judge 455HO.Half off us were stoned so we decided to go smash mailboxes in.We roll up and boom smash one dudes mail box into pieces and take off.Out of knowere greg pulls out a bowling ball from my team bag and trows it into the window of a parked car were all like WTF dead silence.So we stop off at igad my buddy gets out to swipe some beer from the grocery store (labatt 5 so we can still drink while we drive) it was late and there was only one chic working).Out of knowere my buddy comes back with the booze and were all getting back in and a lumina pulls up and a guy runs up and puts a gun to my buddys head were like holy he opens the drivers side door and tells us to get out because hes calling the cops because of his mailbox also reminded us that tampering with the mail is a federal offense.so im like yo man just ing drive he slams it into gear and we blast out of the parking lot all of the sudden the guy starts shooting at us!!!!! the er actually shot at the car took out the back window and put 4 bullet holes in the trunk.Pretty scary .
