Anyone ever outrun the cops?

Oh man I used to run ALL the time. pic this, 15 yrs back, young teen driving a jacked up 81 Camaro, loud *** exhaust, mean oversized tires (for the day), pollution controls non-existant, etc... I got pulled over daily. After a while I got really sick of all the harrassment and every time I saw a cop drive past me, then turn around I knew he/she was gunning for me, so I would turn down the first street I saw, nailed it, made a bunch of turns to loose the cops. I did this only if I knew the neighborhood, certain times of days, and only if I actually thought I could ditch the cops. Mainly worked. If they ever put the lights on I almost always pulled over. The exceptions for that were when I was out in the countryside at night - Id shut off my lights, never hit my brakes (used gearing only) and did like 140+ and jumped into some super long farm driveway or jumped into a carn field where there were tractor access spots.
Other times I was in my RX-7 doing shtoopid *****` and getting noticed, if I knew there were one way alleyways behind storefronts, Id boot it up 2 blocks, turn down a street and into one of those one way alleys and drive down them about 5 blocks then down a side street, park the car and go for a walk - made it hard to prove it was me if they cant find the driver.
I got loads of old storries like that, but now they got cop cams so I dont anymore, plus I got no real reason to.
I never ran when I knew that they could radio it in such as on a highway or area full of cops.

Running north on 48 with a Done up Civic and some dude in a done up truck.
Were taking turns being the leader and running between 120- 135km/h in the
80km/hr zone.
I am up front in the Mustang (it's black) and we run straight through a Radar trap. The other two cars slow right down in front of the Cop.
It's the middle of the night & I know of a side road comming up so I Hit the lights and down shift.

lol mine has nothing to do with a car but, im going through the channel betwenn burlington beach and hamilton bay on my seadoo, and it tends to get REAL choppy so im doin about 40mph launchin off waves, i look up the channel and see a police boat comin across to oncomin traffic so i give her and do a 180 launchin off a wave book it out of the channel and then just open her right up to 62 mph where i landed the sea doo on the beach and blended in with the other sea doos and people,,, cops just motored around the beach and than left

ive run a bunch of times. passed a co pone nite on the hiway, he was hiding, i was just comig down from racing another car and passed him doing just a hair over 200 kph, lights come on, foot goes down. another time i was coing home through the country, passed a cop in a tim hortons doing 40 over the limit at about 1 a.m, he runs to hs cr and comes onto the road, lights come on, i grab third, car wakes up, tear through 4th and by the time fifth came he was a tiny blur and i was already gone. those are only a couple times, there have been more

I would NEVER outrun a cop, unless I was on my motorcycle....
Someone validate this....if you are going more than 200km/h the cops won't even chase....(this is what i've heard)
But then they may call the chopper after you...so it depends how lucky you are...

heres how you look at it. you pass a cop going way too fast or your raceing, either way your loosing you license and getting a huge amount of in fines and posibly jail time. wouldnt you rathre ty and get away and save yourself all the hassle? i mean running on a public street is prtty stupid, an open hiway or a country road at nite and the only person your gona hurt is yourself

outrun-and caught
there was two times for me. first i was heading to work going down warden ave between bloomington and stouffville rd. speed was high enough i was to lose a few points or so.110mph in 70kmh. the only reason i didnt know was all my cars are in MPH. so i was coming up and seen cop at last second. next thing i know i see the reds comin out of side street. so i kept my speed up came to stouffville rd. with the tight chassis hit the corner at 80mph non stop drove st8 down the rd to work turned in and watched piggies drive right on by. lmao a$$holes.
second time i was driving a rental car. going down old homestead rd from durham region. didnt even realize i was going way over the speed limit. 165kmh in 70kmh. seen lights come on in distance thought it was cop slowing me down to let ducks cross rd. next thing u know hes telling me im way over speeding limit i would have lost my license but he let me go and informed me of radar up the rd. how lucky was that. i would sorta.... some cops can be good to you.
