I like my happy Medium. V6, Still got some power but not enough to hurt me at the pumps. Okay well 95 bucks right now hurts but yah.
Like said above, anyone who can build a fast car with what they got. All the power to em. I like 4-6-8-10. Any amount of cylinders. some 3's ive seen are smoking quick too!

it's so childish that some of u guys reacted to such an extend for such a simple post. the mustang raced the integra, he didnt diss any cars, it's something we do for fun, who in the **** world ask u ****ing 240sx to talk aeh? if u want to really race and BRAG about ur car and be a geek, go race a saleen mustang or a E55, and u'll feel like the biggest loser in the world, the mustang didnt brag about his car, he just enjoyed the race, like most NORMAL ppl do, hey, i do enjoy killing civics and integras, rsx and rx8 with my v6 camaro, and when i get beaten by a porsche, i dont ****ing complain like some of u guys do. seriously, if ur a 15 year old kid, please dont drive on the street try to race freaking every sport car u see... that's so sad!!!! i mean seriously, dont u have better things to do??? so all of you kids stop dissing anybody that posts a kill, that's just simply and purely rude and immature. some people like v8's, some like I4's, whatever u like, dont ****ing diss other engines and say they're , every engine has it's flaws and goods, so if u dont want ppl to diss the out of ur car, stop dissing others. let's keep this forum a friendly place for car talks, not a dissing arena everywhere, that's so sad. and whoever replies to this post with a dissing comment in regards to this post is the biggest loser i've ever seen. peace out!

my buddy's rx8 i raced him once, he has automatic, with a stick maybe it'll be a lil hard to beat. but u also have to realize that my 96 camaro is 10 years old, rx8 is brand new, and when a 10 yr old stock car races, it loses a lot of hp due to engine wear and part wear, so i consider myself to be very lucky, however we were on par, i had like about a feet ahead of him, ya rx8 are pretty fast cars, maybe i'll have a chance against a stock rx8 manual if mine is a stick too, but these things you never know, it also depends on the driver.

...lastweek there was an idiot on countryside rd and he was tailgatin me so i let him cut me but after he started actin up so i over took that suker andwe came to a stop sign n he didnt stop he juss zoomed by me i didnt speed after that...n he was long gone...literly a min later that same fagot layed down a line of bricks on tha rd ..i was hittin about 100 on a 70 zone and ma car iz integra iz lowered..i'll leave tha rest 4 ya'll to imagine

I find it funny how every domestic vs. import kill thread or what not turns into some sort of talking. This particular thread didn't have much. But I have noticed that.

I can't wait to buy my car and start building it. I know, civic, Like eveyrthing else on the street. But I need to start at the bottom of the ropes to work my way up. Hopefully in the next 5-6 years I will have the Lexus IS300 to play with

dude, i killed an rx-8, and there's no big wonder why i did
here's the specs
2005 rx-8 - 238 HP @ 8,500 rpm; 159 ft lb @ 5,500 rpm
1996 camaro v6 - 200 HP @ 5,200 rpm; 225 ft lb @ 4,000 rpm
i hit the max hp at lower rpm, in fact 3000rpm lower, i also have 70 ft lb more torque, also hitting at 1500rpm lower, sure he's got 38 hp over me and 1000lb lighter, that's y we had a even race, if my car is lighter, i would've smoked him, and btw, i had winter tires, he had all season, my parts are 10 years old, his is 1 month, do the calculation.

When the civic wins against any v8 or yet, bigger displacement they get all happy.
When they line em up to play with a v8 and get worked they drop the excuses..no traction, didnt launch right, clutch is slipping, you have a v8, my car is FWD.

im kind of in the same boat, i drive a probe GT but i went to that from my fathers camaro Z28
i'd be touring in the Z28, many ppl in there soup cans thought they would have a chance, untilt he light turned green haha :thumbsup:
