First of all the 2001 Cobra, is wood anyway. No offense to mustang guys but 320hp and 317lb-tq is nothing to brag about. The 1999-2001 Cobra's are more an astetics job than anything to do with performance. The Cobra R from 2000 is the only respectable stock cobra from that era. And I haven't seen any on the streets of the GTA very often.

With some drivetrain loss the 2001 Cobra is probably only about 270ish to the wheels...

Now if you want to race an 03-04 Cobra, there is one in woodbridge every now and again, his only mods are intake and Exhaust. Completly stock he put down 380rwhp ! ! ! Yes, those car are actually under-rated from the factory very much.

people who want a small, reliable, cheap car that wont lose half of its value after a year. its pretty simple, in the entry level class the civic and the corolla are far better choises than anything else, you may not like it but its true. I'm not a big fan of those cars but you cant really deny this, the sales facts speak for themselves.

A civic can beat a cobra with the right mods..or motor for that fact

i havent raced a cobra yet but i have taken the GT pretty easily
in my h22 eg putting down 190 whp...so it is possible

how much are you spending to buy a mustang? 20k? if not more
20K into any civic would be more than anything faster than a mustang and fake chargers.

Civics are cheap ways to go fast its true, thats why most people choose them, they are light, affordable, parts are a dime a dozen.

I like both imports and domestics, but when comparing how much to spend to make something go fast, imports are far easier, cheaper and more efficient
