I think the charger dude should line it up with DSMonster, that should definetely be an interesting race. as to the honda vs. ford disscusion, how can a civic even be compared to a mustang (not mentioning a cobra)? of course a mustang (V8) is better in almost all aspects (well maybe except fuel economy) than a civic, but to say that Ford is better than honda... i wouldnt go that far. accord > fusion , civic > focus , odyssey > freestar. and those are all comparisons of cars in the same category.

I PM'ed him about that last week. Just as I thought, he wasn't up for it. I don't really blame him this time of year, as I'd absolutly rape him out the hole, and at 4200lbs theres no way he'd run me down uptop either......thats if he even drives what he says he drives.

oh, im pretty sure you'd smoke him anyway, out the hole you'd probably be way ahead and hes definetly waay too heavy to catch up with you, like you said. It would be nice to see some pics of his car and the engine bay, he has been braggin alot about his car (and dont get me wrong i do like the charger), but i would just like to see some pics of what is an apparantly a supercharged charger.

^^^ If he really has it, I tip my hat off to him. Those new chargers are really nice, and being supercharged makes it that much better. I agree he should put out some pics, as I'd love to see his set-up.

680whp is just under 800hp at the motor. I'd like to see at least a dyno sheet. I just checked out the GS Motorsports site, and they claim that the SC is good for 650hp(dyno sheet shows 500.0rwhp ), so I don't know how he'd be making close to 800hp with it, definatly


Besides, my ETs are quicker than that vette they have on thier site so I know

EDIT: Looks like I was giving him too much credit. That 500rwhp was for the 6.1L srt-8. The charger has the 5.7L hemi, so that'll only bring it up to 407.6rwhp with the GS Supercharger(according to GS's dyno). Looks like somebody is missing 272.4rwhp, or a supercharger, or even a charger for that matter

First of all the 2001 Cobra, is wood anyway. No offense to mustang guys but 320hp and 317lb-tq is nothing to brag about. The 1999-2001 Cobra's are more an astetics job than anything to do with performance. The Cobra R from 2000 is the only respectable stock cobra from that era. And I haven't seen any on the streets of the GTA very often.

With some drivetrain loss the 2001 Cobra is probably only about 270ish to the wheels...

Now if you want to race an 03-04 Cobra, there is one in woodbridge every now and again, his only mods are intake and Exhaust. Completly stock he put down 380rwhp ! ! ! Yes, those car are actually under-rated from the factory very much.
