Some fat guy...
It was 7:40 am. A crisp August morning.
I was making my way to the local Tim Hortons to get myself a donut and a coffee before work. In the distance, I could see something lumbering in my general direction... a fat guy. And he had only one thought on his mind... the LAST - CHOCOLATE - DIP - DONUT.
Barrelling like a freight train, the Tim Hortons was at our mid-point. With my relaxed gait towards the door, and his labored waddling, he was gaining speed, and bound to beat me there.
I braced myself and took off, my Dockers gripping the pavement like Mickey Thompson drags on a Chevelle, my tie fluttering above my shoulder. The fat man saw and started to run faster, he let go of his briefcase to gain extra speed. We got closer, and closer to the door. Suddenly I yelled "Look, free ice cream!" The fat man stopped and turned around "Where?" BAM! A cyclist ran into him.
I proceeded into the Tim Horton's line, and ordered the last Chocolate Dip donut and a large coffee, black. The fat man lumbered in to see his beloved chocolate dip getting a bite taken out of it by me. Defeated, he ordered a low-fat yougurt in preparation for the next time a chocolate dip was on the line.
That's my kill this week. There's no racing going on when you drive a 4x4.
