suzuki swift gt vs. acura integra type r

Regardless of what kind of transmission is in there, it still doesn't explain how you struggle to keep up with a car thats almost a full second slower in the 1/4 mile. Even still, because you have a shorter final drive, that should give you an advantage. I think you might be mistaken on your numbers though... a 4.1 final drive would produce longer gears then a 4.4 final drive, not the other way around.

gears
livinlow B6T is right, the 4.1 ratio will give you longer gears as opposed to the type r's shorter 4.4 gears. plainly put and in theory, the 4.4 is better for acceleration as opposed to your 4.1 which is better for top end speed. But it also depends on your car's setup. despite this you should smash type r's. Anyways, B6T i'd love to see your car someday. is the B6T the mazda 323 gtx engine?

What kind of motor and hp you putting out in that thing????
I don't know about suzuki swifts, but is it actually really safe to travel in one at that type of speed??? scary.
I have a video of me burying my needle and hitting 252km/h on my GPS Navigator .. iv also run a 14.7 @ 96mph w/AEM CAI... and let me say it was stable as ever..
This car loves the highway.. especially when yuo are cruising and at 4krpms the "buzzing" starts... shes just askn for it

swift
my swift was dyno tuned at 117 atw whereas stock would be around 85. Thank you for your compliment, 91 traps in the 1/4 with a 1.3l is pretty damn good. Now that i read all the posts, i believe the guy in the type r probably thought that he would smoke me and didn't rev it to red line. although i would love to try again with another type r. anyone want to take a cruise one day? this is not a challenge just want to try again. Also, the car is rock steady at those speeds, no steering shake and no vibrations. The car will probably never achieve 250km/hr, but i've been at about 210.

With 117 WHP you should get damn close to 250 km/h the only thing that might hold you back is gearing... As my Swift went 215 km/h and it was stock...

I beat an ef hatch with an ITR motor with mods, on the street, from a dig.
My car only ran a best of 14.0@100 with that setup (outstanding time considering it runs 15.2-15.3 stock and the car was basically stock). It defienetly did not run a 14.0 that night, more like 14.5-14.7
It is all in the driver.
To the dude claiming to run 13.9's and hardly beating ITR's, your car either did not run those times, or it was someone else driving your car.

okay
livinlow would love to go for a cruise with ya. the car has mostly all possible bolt-ons with a bump in compression. 117 atw is probably a little overrated as a dynojet is known to do that. as for getting up to 250km, my speedo only reads to 180km. also our speedos get very inaccurate at those speeds. the only way to really check is to test it with a newer automobile with more a accurate speedo. Better yet bring it to a race track, as it gets pretty dangerous at those speeds and getting caught at that speed would mean no car for a while.

And I don't really care for the top speed... But you still didn't say what you have done to your motor...
