radar detectors?

i was looking to find a decent radar detector but dont know much about them..is there any thing i should look for in one? i dont really want to spend much over $200 Circuit city has a cobra somthing for like $150 that i thought would be a good deal is there a better place to look for them?

I have a cobra and I like it. Never had any issues with it yet.

but how sensitive is it? That is the issue with detectors is the lower end ones don't go off until the blue lights are already on

Mine has always gone off a fair amount ahead of time. I had mine go off 2 miles away from a radar around here.

I dunno, I havent been dissapointed with it at all, its worked like a charm.
