I don't think you guys are reading my posts.
There are already millions of car shows for classic cars. I'm not looking into just having the most cars possible, if I was I would have an import section as well but that's not what I'm going for. I'm having a late model GM muscle car show with earlier gens of the f and y bodies but that's it.

I won't kick anyone out and that's probably the way I'm going to do it. I already have a list of all the major forums for those kinds of cars as well as all the Chicago and Milwaukee based car forums that'll I'll post it up on. I might even throw an ad in the local paper.

Better than early May. Many don't bring out the car until Mother's Day, and then 19th is Dells Automation and Spring Cruise, then Memorial Day.

I'd suggest getting one of those hamburger stand guys to set up on the periphery. Either get a discount, or a portion of the sales goes to you/your show funds. This way there can be a little snackage available for in between the pizza time. Just be straight about having sodas out, so he knows how to price his stuff. Or else some other lunch wagon type vendor.

Letting in new "GTO"s, but not the real GTOs? Hmmm. I do like all gens of F-bodies showing up. And I guess Y-bods for those into that. Are LS1 trucks included?

I'd suggest checking the calendar for that big f-body show in Des Moines, and also the Elkart Lake schedule, GLD shows.

Just got a hold of Tony. He's asking a price for the rental of the dyno that I'd be willing to pay. So we'll have a dyno there!!
Now I just need to finalize everything to get the lot rented out.

Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun but I'd like to keep them seperate. I really want more of an FBody type crowd without the large import people being there. Plus I really want up in this area since there isn't anything else going on around here.

I just left a message for the place I'm trying to rent for the show. Hopefully they call back soon so we can get it all worked out.


Don't worry guys once these two main things(place and dyno) are completely paid for and finished up I'll start looking more of what to do for the show and then I'll let you know what you can help out with if you're intrested.
