no one can give you an exact $$$ figure, just count on your parents insurance to go up ... why?

- you're under 25 with a extremely short driving record
- probably not at full license yet (G2 i'm assuming)
- parents insurance means parents ownership, which means you were only considered an occasional driver.

keep in mind that ANY moving violation will increase your insurance premium EVEN if by some freakish chance they reduce it down to less than 15km/h over which carries no points. the only thing you should try to pray for is a.) the cop doesn't show up (unlikely these days, especially with more serious offences like 40 over) or b.) hire a top-notch traffic lawyer which will cost you an arm and a leg and they somehow get the ticket thrown out.

good luck
