Nitrous is perfectly legal in your car right now. They have not passed a bill yet to outlaw it. Unless you have over 75kg (or is it lbs) of nitrous, you don't even have to placard legally.

But being an idiot and purging on the cops can be several charges, including administering a noxious substance, and assulting a police officer.

It is legal to possess nitrous oxide. However, the system must be securely mounted. The bottle should be mounted rigidly away from crumple zones. Hatchbacks with bottles containing compressed gas must have a blow-by tube routed underneath the car; in case of failure the gas vents out of the vehicle, not in it. Do not drop it or damage the valve and do not grind off the bottle's date of manufacture. Secure bottles firmly in their mounting brackets, preferably with rubber insulation to protect the bottle. The lines from the bottle to the engine must be of the highest quality and kept separate from all heat sources.
Note: Although legal to possess, most insurance companies will not insure a vehicle equipped with nitrous oxide systems.

Nitrous Oxide is LEGAL to have in your vehicle under the Transportation Dangerous Goods Act BUT certain conditions apply. (you have driver training, vehicle has placards, security and bill of lading, identifes dangerous good on board)

Column 3: With a class of 2.2 (meaning non flammable, non-toxic gas) and sub-classs of 5.1 (means oxidizing substance)


Column 6: ****most important**** has a limited quantity of 0 (zero). The limited quantity is the amount that is permitted in a vehicle WITHOUT having to have placards, driver training, and load security and bill of lading.

Column 9: Passenger carrying amount of 75 kgs or the MAXIMUM a passenger carrying vehicle on the road can carry (this includes a transport truck) Any amount larger than 75kgs is forbidden.

HOWEVER, it is legal to have nitrous hooked into the fuel system, which then does not fall under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act as you are not "transporting" the dangerous goods. But not certain if this would now fall under the Ministry of Environment regulations??

I dont like dem neither becuz i get pulled over 2 times a month on average for walkin while black or somethin . its not all cops tho only stupid fu**in PEEL REGION POLICE. I think they could hire a bunch of taliban suicide bombers 2 do a better job then peel region police, especially in brampton.
