700R4 Rebuild Parts

Hey yall, I have a 700R4 transmission in my 93 Camaro. The car is kicking out about 450 HP. My goal is around 650-850 RWHP.

I have to have my transmission rebuild because it cant handle the power as of now and I lost reverse. I have a friend that told me that he will rebuild it if I get the parts for $700.

I know that Im going to get a stall, shift kit, and an automatic transmission cooler. I just need to know what parts are what and how much.

Thanks.

Call either summit or your local tranny shop- they should be able to help you. If its slipping and you have no reverse you will prol end up rebuilding the entire thing. I would plan on setting aside at least 2 grand to get it build stout enough not to worry about.

p.s.- fix your sig please- I'm pretty sure you only have one cam-

Find some one that has A LOT of experience building 700R4's and 4l60e's. They can hold a lot of power if built CORRECTLY.
9 out of 10 trans shops will not build it right.
Do some research before you drop coin!

I plan on paying around $2500 if I go to a shop.

I have a friend that will rebuild it for $700. So Im just trying to figure out parts and price.

Yall think TCI would be a good company to call?
