Did anyone really get a good sound clip now? Or any more recomendations, since a few of you have installed a few goodies since the snow stopped flying?

If you don't want the rice sound don't get the Flowmasters, (i know you never said you were but i was just warning you) that is what the kid before me put on and it has a bad case of rice. i test drove a 98 with magnaflow on it and it didn't see to be near as bad at all. i want to swap out mine for magnaflow after driving it.

Well since you have a 99, Id say the one for 98-02 v6. Im not sure how well the LS1 system fits up on a v6, youll have to ask someone whos done it.

They are good ones, depends on how loud you want to go really, there are many choices.

No matter what exhaust you go with its going to be 'ricey' at high RPM's..and modding it will help slightly, but you aren't going to get rid of the sound no matter what. A V6 will ALWAYS sound like a V6, it doesn't matter, a V8 will sound like a V8.

The are pysically different, the sound you get is from the firing pattern, not the displacement. Ever here those mini V8's? Those sound just like a car.

As for sound, I would say Magna is one of the best, it opens it up but not too much to make it sound open and too loud.

I was just crusing around on the site and found some videos of American Muscles car with the TSP on it, it almost sounds more deep and less ricey than the magnaflow clips, what are your thoughts. The TSP is also a crap load cheaper, which is good in my book. Any personal experience with the TSP? Pros/Cons, quality, that kinda thing. Thanks in advance guys!

That does sound good but you can definitly tell it's not a V8.
