BORLA is what I want, but its so expensive...way outta my price range! anyways im sure these guys have good imput since most the people on this site have v6's, nothing wrong with the v6. 3.8 series are good escpecially the S/C ones!

Take it in to your local exhaust shop and just ask em. They should be able to weld almost anything if they are a qualified shop. But yes, for my 3.8L, they just did a big welding job that adapted the pipe from stock size to 3". I had stock cat and manifolds.

Depends on if your getting just the cat-back or headers to high-flo cat to TSP rumbler. If your just doing the cat-back you might not feel any difference (I put a K&N Cold Air Intake in at the same time I did my exhaust so for me I felt a slight difference). As for sound, the TSP is very loud. I had my Z28 with (closed) Borla sitting next to my V6 with the TSP and you couldnt even hear my z28 anymore.

Here are some sound clips with the TSP on 3.8Ls and Chad's Z.

i just installed the full TSP cat-back on my 3.4L and it sounds awesome until about 4700 rpms, right before it shifts. It has kind of a rice sound but just at that second otherwise its nice. thanks for the suggestions

Its Linxs at ftv6 for those that dont know: http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...p?do=view&id=4

Ill agree with you that youll never get that v8 sound, but this guy sure is god damn close. (At idle definitly)
Sorry to chime in so late in the thread. But the reason that car sounds the way it does, is because hes recording the sound from the front of the car, and instead of hearing the 'rice' of the top end of the v6 exhaust, your hearing his supercharger whine.

Granted, it does sound good. Cam lope at idle sounds about the same as mine.

What the hell are you talking about? Watch the second video. If Im not mistaken that is the rear of the car, is it not?

He has a godly v6. The best sounding one Ive heard. Find one that sounds better.
